Description

Clax Peroxy is a concentrated powder laundry destainer specially formulated

for use in commercial, healthcare and on premise laundries. The product should

be applied in the main wash at temperatures between 40 and 70 ºC and can be

used for all types of fabric, except woollen and nylon (polyamide) articles.

Key properties

Clax Peroxy is an effective powder laundry destainer, based on

TAED/perborate - medium temperature bleach system and bleach stabilising

agents. Once in solution the combination of TAED bleach activator and

perborate will lead to formation of peracetic acid.

In addition this product contains alkaline salts and nonionic surfactants resulting

in additional soil removal and dispersion capacity, when combined with a

mainwash detergent.

Clax Peroxy can be applied on all types of fabric (except wool and nylon),

including coloured articles, at 40 - 70 ºC.For optimal bleach performance the

temperature of the wash solution should ideally be between 60 and 70 ºC.

When used according to user instructions, this product causes minimal fabric

damage and colour fading. Fabric damage is also prevented by the presence of

bleach stabilising agents.

In addition Clax Peroxy provides good hygiene, provided the temperature and

pH conditions (see "User Instruction") and contact time are right.

Please note that bloodstains will set when in contact with peracid/peroxide and

as a result, will be hard to remove. Therefore it is strongly advised to avoid any

contact with Clax Peroxy in the initial phase of the wash (t= 0 ñ 7 minutes). It is

recommended to treat fabric with bloodstains with an enzymatic product in the

pre-wash.
