The orthoscopy-proctoscope light source consists of the transformer, the light source where the Halogen 6V lamp is located and the special adapter, which has an observation window and connects the blower for air supply as well as the spare orthoscopes or proctoscopes.

The instrument also provides a means of entry for surgical instruments into the rectum and rectum
