P.Cosmidis Triacid N Instrument Cleaner 1000 ml

SCOPE & METHOD OF USE

Cleaning and simultaneous disinfection of surgical instruments and laboratory equipment by immersion or in ultrasonic washing machines.

BASIC FEATURES

Triacid N has a rapid and effective disinfectant action in clean and dirty conditions. The formulation does not contain aldehydes and when dissolved gives an almost odorless ready solution with a slightly alkaline pH of 9-10. The alkalinity of the product and the ingredients it contains give the preparation a strong cleaning action while protecting the various construction materials (metals, plastics, tires, etc.). The active ingredients per 100 g of product are 18 g of N-Dodecylpropan-1,3-diamine. The product has been tested and recommended by the tool and endoscope manufacturer KARL STORZ.

DISINFECTANT ACTION

Triacid N is bactericidal, fungicidal, viricidal (HIV, HBV, HCV, Vaccinia), tuberculous and sporocidal. It is tested according to the strict specifications of the German Agency for Hygiene and Microbiology (DGHM) which include in addition to the usual tests and tests in practice as well as tests in the presence of high biological load.

DOSAGE

The product is concentrated and used in dilution. Dosage for cleansing 0.25% for 5-10 minutes. Dosage for cleaning and disinfection 0.25% for 60 minutes, 0.5% for 30 minutes, 1% for 15 minutes and 3% for rapid disinfection within 5 minutes. At these approved dosages the product achieves complete disinfection of surgical and medical instruments.
